Meet The Staff
We understand that leadership is incredibly important, and a big part of leadership is getting to know the people with whom you serve. Below is some brief information to introduce you to each of our ministerial staff members. Click on the pictures for a more detailed introduction to each member of the Highland Hills staff.
Jason Ingram
Senior Pastor
An avid University of Oklahoma fan and a VeggieTales authority, Jason came to Highland Hills in June 2009 after serving churches in Oklahoma, Texas, and North Carolina. Jason loves people and also believes in the power of laughter. So it is not uncommon to find him shuffling a Sunday School teacher’s notes, watching cartoons with the preschoolers, or to hear him laughing in the hallways. As much as he loves to have fun, Jason is a firm believer in the importance and power of teaching the Bible. When you visit one of our services, you need to have your Bible handy because we are studying our way through Scripture. His prayer for every service is that each person feels at home – like a part of the family – and, more importantly, that each person truly encounter Jesus Christ in worship. We were never meant to live isolated lives and so when you worship with us you will encounter people of all ages, backgrounds, races, and personalities. Highland Hills is a family, and Jason would love to invite you to come and encounter God with us!
Richard Stephens
Minister to Students
Richard Stephens was called as Minister to Students in October 2011. Richard came on staff at Highland Hills as children's minister and director of Upward Sports ministries early in 2009, after serving as a volunteer at Highland Hills in many aspects for the prior five years. He is an avid fisherman and hunter as well as NASCAR and Oklahoma State sports fan. Richard knows the importance of teaching the Word of Christ. He leads our children in Upward Sports but you will see him reaching out to all generations. His passion is children, but Richard feels that it is important that he reaches out to all and hopes that everyone he makes contact with has a chance to experience Jesus Christ. Richard invites everyone to come and experience the love of Christ at Highland Hills.
